Dylan Dudley FRSA is a multi-instrumentalist, an educator, a mix engineer, and a video producer. With a career in the music industry working on a range of studio albums, live projects, and with organisations such as the BBC, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both live and studio environments.

As a musician specialising in woodwind, he brings over a decade of experience in the flute, saxophones (alto, tenor, soprano), clarinet, piccolo, and tin whistle. He teaches to multiple exam board specifications at all grades and styles and is a teacher-assessor for Music Medal examinations.

Dylan is the Sessions Engineer for BBC Introducing across BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester, Shropshire, and Stoke, working with the team that discovered artists such as Becky Hill, Ellie Goulding, Peace, and 220 Kid. He mixes the live recordings of sessions for broadcast and also films and edits sessions for the show’s online content (some examples below). He supports other shows such as Upload in producing digital/online content for social media and the BBC website. He has worked with artists which have gone on to be featured on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 6 Music, ITV’s This Morning, and other high-profile national programmes and events. His work is featured on both weekly radio shows, the BBC Sounds App, BBC News, local and national social media pages, and the BBC iPlayer.

His freelance work can also be seen in global publications such as Prog Magazine.
